Turf season approaching
WE are eagerly anticipating the return of flat turf racing with the Moulton Racing team entering fast work ahead of the upcoming season.
Although we don’t have any horses in action at Doncaster’s Lincoln meeting we are hoping to have some runners in April.
Looking ahead, Invictus Gold is being targetted at a valuable 6f handicap at the Craven Meeting. The son of Invincible Spirit won well in a novice at the July Course before finishing fifth in Listed company on his final start of 2024. With a mark of 93, life is not going to be easy for him but he’s an exciting horse who can hopefully take us to some big days.
Showyoutheropes is also nearing his racecourse debut – he is a big horse who will get better with racing but he has shown up well and should be ready for a mile novice in mid-April.
Beechdale and Harvard Sound should be ready for the end of April/early May – both want top of the ground and hopefully are well handicapped ahead of this season.
