Quantum Power keeps the winners flowing

QUANTUM Power kept the winners flowing for Moulton Racing when taking the restricted Novice Stakes at Beverley on Wednesday.

The son of first season sire Supremacy has improved with each start to date and benefited from the drop down to the minimum five furlong distance.

Despite very soft ground to contend with, jockey David Egan soon had Quantum Power travelling well on the heels of the leaders.

He switched towards the far rail to make his move and his mount responded well to pressure to win by a length.

Tom said: “He had to be brave today but he was and he deserved to win. The drop down in trip has helped and he seems to be getting the hang of racing.

“He is from a family who do better with age so hopefully there is more to come from him.”
