Showyoutheropes gains deserved win

IT has been a slightly frustrating spell on track for the Moulton Racing team so we were delighted when Showyoutheropes got his head in front at Newmarket on Saturday.

The son of Showcasing has been knocking on the door in recent starts and was unlucky at Newbury last time out.

In front of a strong turn out of Moulton Racing members he stormed to victory under a strong ride by Jason Watson. We had our hearts in our mouths for a short while as Showyoutheropes was carried across the track by the wayward Nanny Park, allowing the eventual runner up Opera Wave a clean run up the inside rail.

Luckily the line came in time and we held on by a head. He has been raised 2lb by the handicapper today so fingers crossed he will be going close again soon.
